If you haven’t already make sure you pick these up at your local drugstore or using the links above. They are super easy to use and really do live up to the instaGLAM motto that CoverGirl is using for them. Not only will they be a product that I will use again they will probably windup as a permanent part of my makeup routine. Overall both of these were great products that I’m super glad that I purchased. ![]() Like the foundation I didn’t have a problem with this clinging to any of my dry patches. I also used this around a little bit of redness that I had peaking through on the side of my nose and it did a great job of covering that up as well. I just wish it was a bit more sturdy then what it is. I do think that the shape of the bottle makes it easy to drop in your purse for quick touch-ups later in the day. It was super creamy, blended very easy, and did a great job of covering my under eye circles without being obvious. This wand is a little worse than others as it doesn’t seem to pick up a lot of product that you can transfer to the back of your hand.Ĭomplaints about the packaging aside this was a great product. On top of that I’m not a big fan of concealers with wands as I find it a bit unsanitary to dip a product that you just smeared on your face back into clean product. That being said once my hands were on the plastic bottle it felt a bit flimsy feeling, almost like a fake Barbie makeup that I would give my niece. That’s the part that I can get behind, I think more products should have testers out with shades for you to try but the product you buy should come with an outer package for sanitary reasons. First off I should mention that you don’t just buy the concealer in the bottle like pictured, it does come with an outer packaging that you have to take it out of. I’m a bit on the fence when it comes to the packaging for the Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer. As that would mean going lighter instead of darker it left me with one choice: Fair 105/110. Since I was counting on the foundation to be medium coverage and to cover my blemishes and redness I knew that the concealer was going to be an under-the-eye/highlighting concealer. Once I had my shade figured out in the Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation it was a bit easier to narrow down the selection from the six concealer shades that CoverGirl offers. Lastly, the foundation really did last all day even in the South Carolina humidity. The foundation was oil-free enough that it wasn’t greasy or cakey on my face, however, it wasn’t drying either and it certainly didn’t cling to any of my dry patches. ![]() The Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation did a great job of covering all of my blemishes and redness without the need of concealer. I can tell you that all of these claims are true. I think the Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation packaging was genius.Ĭovergirl claims that the Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation is medium coverage, oil-free, has a built in powder and that it lasts all day. I also really like that the cap is made of a thicker plastic because I’m not afraid that the cap is going to get broken in my makeup bag and have the makeup going all over my other products. I really liked this design because I feel the foundation is easier to get out of the squeeze bottle than their glass bottles that you have to shake and foundation goes EVERYWHERE. I decided to go with 110 and once I got it home and started blending it the foundation actually was pretty spot on.Īs you can see the bottle is a thin plastic squeeze bottle with a thicker plastic cap. The 105 shade was a bit lighter, it’ll probably windup being my winter foundation, and I thought 110 was a smidge tanner. There are 12 different shades to choose from in the Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation line and I found myself right between two of them 105 and 110. To start off with let’s talk about color matching. ![]() When I saw them at the store I decided to snap them up. I was interested to know if this was a set of products that was going to hold up or if it was just a gimmick product. I’ve seen the advertisements for this line in all the magazines I’m subscribed to and I was very intrigued.
